Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-07-09

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Anulum Institute website, the SCPN Studio Hub, or any federated studio (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. The Services

The Services provide a federation of scientific-computing studios, evidence verification tools, and related documentation. Some features require an account and a paid subscription.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Services to: (a) violate any applicable law; (b) interfere with or disrupt the infrastructure; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access; (d) upload malicious code; or (e) misrepresent the scientific boundaries of any evidence bundle.

5. Scientific claims and evidence

The Services render scientific claims at the boundary stated in their evidence bundle. Anulum does not upgrade, downgrade, or guarantee the correctness of any studio's claims beyond what the published evidence and its seal support.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid subscriptions are handled through our commerce backend and Polar. Fees are charged as disclosed at checkout. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Intellectual property

The platform SDK and Hub core are dual-licensed under AGPL-3.0-or-later and a commercial license. User-generated content and scientific outputs remain the property of their respective authors.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Anulum Institute and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
